Skinheads.. Skinheads rule.. Skinheads..

The internet is failing me today. I have become somewhat obsessed with this picture, and want to know more about the subject, but all I can seem to find out is what book the picture is in and nothing about him.

The book is called "Skinhead" and its "author" is Nick Knight (I use the quotation marks as its a series of photos of EastEnd Skins from the late 70s and early 80s).

Thats all I have got. Help.

That guy was called Andy.

He has now had the cross removed and grew his hair.

It was in '82 and was in Southend (when the weekend kicks of was very common), he was a very familiar face in London.

Both the cross and made in london are homedone tattoos.

This photo was taken on bank holiday at southend and this skinhead was stonebridge John from wembley in London. 100% sure on that as I know people that knew him and the last time any of the seem him was when he was working at a bakers in Ilford. And he has had the tattoos removed off his head.

Try Steve. He was an Archway Skinhead who knocked around with Doss and Steven Andrews. All lived around the end of St Johns way where it meets the bottom of Archway Rd. Arsenal Fan.We all had tattoos done at Abbey Rd Estate.

Stonebridge John lived near Stonebridge Park estate in the council houses on the left as you go towards the North Circular with his Mum. Chelsea fan.(I think).
Did Saturday late nights at Wardour Mews(THE MEWS !!)A £1 in.
Then off shit faced to Last Resort in the morning.

HAPPY DAYS!!?!!?

The chap in the picture is Steve from Archway. He knocked about with the likes of Blakey/Doss/Steve Andrews. Far as I remember he lived at the Archway end of St Johns way. Arsenal Fan.

Stonebridge John lived in the council houses on the main road on the left as you go down from Harlesden to the North Circ just near the old Stonebridge estate.
We did Saturday nights at Wardour Street Mews(THE MEWS !!) in for a £1. The off to Brick Lane/Petticoat Lane/Last resort still buzzed.
